Lake Patoka & French Lick Resort - stopped here on our way to see my sister-in-law Anything else on your mind you want us to know? We had a wonderful time. We liked that the cabins were pet friendly and we enjoyed swimming @ the lake. Cabins are conveniently located to lake & hiking trails.

Our stay at Cabin #6 was so nice.  The view was amazing, our cabin was clean and neat. We will definitely come back. And also a special thanks to the lady that checked us in. She stayed late so that we were able to check in. THANK YOU. 6/7

Pam Hello!  I wanted to send you and your husband a Thank You! for being so nice to us this past Saturday and Sunday. First of all thanks for the late check out time and then letting us stay even longer waiting for the rain to pass over. We made it the rest of the way home rain free. Thanks for your patience with me as I made up my mind on a cabin – by the way #12b is awesome!! We will be back to stay with you all again. We normally stay at French Lick, but not anymore. The cabins were so much better! Oh & this was my Birthday get away – and the stay we had at the cabin was the icing on the cake. Thanks again, Sharon & David

February 15-17, 2011 Very pleased with this small cabin community here. Management and staff were very helpful and pleasant to work with. I loved walking the hiking paths up to the old house, along the lake, and through the vulture nesting area. Hopefully lots of good pictures. We will be back to visit Lake Patoka again in the future. Thanks so much. We enjoyed the skiing, walking on the beach, and so did our pets. David & Olga Pratt

1-28-11 Dear Cabin 9, We wanted to get away for the weekend so I started looking on-line for where to go. We came across this website that talked about family cabins and all the things we could do. So, we decided to take a chance. Well, what a great chance. We live in Indy, so getting away to a relaxing and laid back place was all we wanted. From the people to all the wonderful things we did this has been a weekend to remember. We went to Marengo Caves and French Lick Casino. We also took time to walk by the lake. We will definitely be back and bring our kids!! Thank you from both of us!! We will tell everyone. Dear French Lick Team My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip here. You all have the nicest staff and best customer service. I will most certainly be back soon. The Donovans, Lunsfords and many friends enjoyed our 3 day vacation by coming to our favorite cabin by our favorite lake. We had a great weather and got a party boat for a day, we laughed ,played and made many great memories! Thanks for the good time!!

Weather was great, there were 3 Mishawaka Firefighters in this cabin & 3 others. Came for annual fishing trip. Did get chased off lake several times in evening but day time was great. Enjoyed the casino one night. Total of 3 boats, cabin was great & a/c welcomed. 88 + temps during the day out on lake. Bluegill size is getting better, caught catfish, crappie, small & large mouth bass, all was released back except 2 large crappie 5-day total of 1073 bluegill & crappies.

Perfect weather everyday. Low 80s . Caught a lot of crappie- too dry for mushrooms. Cabin is well kept. Our dog “Storm” had a great time

We had our Schaeffer family reunion here (stayed in cabins 3, 9, 10 & 12) for Father's Day week-end. We had a wonderful time here - enjoyed meals together in the conference room.

Everyone here is so nice & we enjoyed our first of many vacations here.

It is so peaceful & restful here & it's so nice to be so close to the Lake. We enjoyed fishing & rides in the boat, especially in the evenings.

We are so thankful that God chooses to give us such beauty to enjoy!

The Howards came w/2 yr old Xander for R & R. Holiday World on Monday & French Lick the next. Cabin is nice & cold when its hot. Had a raccoon come down the tree every night to see if we left any food out. We enjoyed our stay.

This was our 2nd visit and it was better than the 1st, (the 1st visit was great). We went to the French Lick Casino and that was fun. We plan on coming back soon, we have reservations for Thanksgiving '07 also. This is just a great get-away for us. Thank you for this great place. Home away from home. We will definately be back before Thanksgiving, probably more than once. Our Boxer, "Baby", really enjoyed this also. Baby says "roof roof", she loves it.

Instead of buying Christmas gifts for the family this year, we decided to use the $ to take a weekend vacation together...14 people, 2 cabins. We had an absolute blast skiing, snowboarding & gambling! The trails are great. We'd like to come back this summer to fish! Also, it was nice being able to bring the dog. He loved the trails also!! 14 people & 2 bathrooms...what an adventure!

This was our first time here - we appreciated the clean cabin. Everyone was very helpful. Betsy was great - fun activities on rainy days - Jasper, good shops, good bakery downtown and great German restaurant - Corydon, very historic, Christmas goose shop & Magdalena's restaurant was outstanding - we had one sunny day on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat at Gillian's Marina - very nice! Be sure to hit the French Lick Winery. We went to Ferdinand and St. Meinrad - beautiful churches, buildings and Abbey Press Outlet. Hillcrest Pub, on 164, has marvelous ribs & catfish. Betsy has helpful maps at the office!

We are the Lees family. We had a wonderful time here. It was perfect because it was right in between French Lick and Santa Claus. We will definitely come back again for years to come.
